Hoquiam, Washington
Hoquiam is a small logging town located west of Aberdeen and just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean.
For those who love history, Hoquiam is home to the luxurious Hoquiam Castle constructed in 1897. Although this mansion is privately owned, one can take a tour. Discover the story behind this community at the historic Polson Museum or see a show at the Historic 7th Street Theater.
Looking for some outdoor recreation? Stop by Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge to view the shorebirds spring and fall migration on the new boardwalk.

Public Lands
Damon Point
A 61-acre day-use park at the southeastern tip of the Ocean
Shores Peninsula. The park consists of a one-mile-long, half-mile-wide
stretch of land jutting out into the sea. Damon Point is a textbook example
of accreted land, and is one of the few remaining nesting sites of the snowy
plover.
Grays harbor
National Wildlife Refuge
Hundreds of thousand shorebirds stop here to feed during their spring and
fall migrations. View the birds and other wildlife from the new boardwalk.
