The Polynesian Resort in Ocean Shores

Olympic Peninsula Washington Travel Region
Hoquiam, Washington

Hoquiam is a small logging town located west of Aberdeen and just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean.

For those who love history, Hoquiam is home to the luxurious Hoquiam Castle constructed in 1897. Although this mansion is privately owned, one can take a tour. Discover the story behind this community at the historic Polson Museum or see a show at the Historic 7th Street Theater.

Looking for some outdoor recreation? Stop by Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge to view the shorebirds spring and fall migration on the new boardwalk.

Grays harbor National Wildlife Refuge
Hundreds of thousand shorebirds stop here to feed during their spring and fall migrations. View the birds and other wildlife from the new boardwalk.
