Forks, Washington is located in the Olympic Peninsula close to Olympic National Park and situated between the Olympic mountains and the Pacific Ocean beaches offering many scenic attractions and countless activities.
With over 200 miles of rivers, Forks is a popular fishing destination for steelhead and salmon. Local guides are available as well as outfitters. Please click on our activities page for more details.
Formerly a logging town, Forks is now better known as home of the "Twilight" series. For more details about Twilight attractions contact the Forks Chamber of Commerce or visit the attractions page for more information.
Another unique attraction include One Square Inch of Silence located in the Hoh Rain Forest about three miles from the visitor center above Tom Creek Meadows. Hikers can send silent messages by placing note in the "Jar of Quiet Thoughts" next to the small red stone on top of a moss covered log. The stone marks the exact spot for one square inch of silence.
