Note: Nearest public phone, grocery services, gasoline and restaurant at the Last Resort which is located ½ mile southeast of Wish Poosh Campground.
Cle Elum River. On Cle Elum Valley Road #903, 15 miles north of Cle Elum. Facilities: Vault toilets, tables, stoves, drinking water. Units: 23 camping plus a group site than can be reserved for up to 100 persons. Activities: Tent and trailer camping, group camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking. Elevation: 2,200 feet. GPS: 47.3491; -121.105.
Owhi. Five miles off the Cle Elum Valley Road above Lake Cle Elum at Cooper Lake. The turnoff is approximately 16 miles from Cle Elum. Possible Day Use Fee. Facilities: Vault toilets, stoves, tables, parking lot, boat launch, no potable water. Units: 22 walk-in camping only; camper/trailer facilities and parking not available. Activities: Camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking, photography, non-motorized boating. Elevation: 2,800 feet. GPS: 47.4244; -121.17.
Fish Lake (Tucquala Lake). Near Tucquala Lake approximately 29 miles from Cle Elum on the Cle Elum Valley Road. The road is paved to Salmon la Sac, 19 miles north of Cle Elum. The # 4330 road beyond is not paved and is narrow and rough in places. Facilities: Vault toilets, tables, stoves, guard station, no potable water. Units: 3, camping or picnicking. Activities: Camping, picnicking, photography, berry picking, fishing, hunting, hiking, birding and wildflower viewing. Elevation: 3,400. GPS: 47.5239; -121.073.
Red Mountain. On Cle Elum Valley Road #903, 16 miles north of Cle Elum. Possible Day Use Fee. Facilities: Vault toilets, stoves, tables, no potable water. Units: 10 camping. Activities: Tent camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking. Elevation: 2,200. GPS: 47.3666; -121.102.
Salmon la Sac. At the end of the Cle Elum Valley Road #903, 19 miles north of Cle Elum. Possible Day Use Fees. Facilities: Potable water, flush toilets, community kitchen, stoves, tables, guard station. Units: 99 camping, (12 of which are double family units), (25 of which can be reserved); 20 picnicking. Activities: Tent and trailer camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking. Elevation: 2,400. GPS: 47.4012; -121.1.
Cayuse Horse Camp. At the end of the Cle Elum Valley Road #903, north side of road, 19 miles north of Cle Elum. Must have livestock to camp at Cayuse Campground. Facilities: Potable water, flush toilets, community kitchen, stoves, tables, loading ramp, troughs, corrals and hitching posts. Units: 13 camping. Activities: Tent and trailer camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding in the area. Elevation: 2,400. GPS: 47.41432222; -121.08294445.
Wish Poosh. 8 miles northwest of Cle Elum, on Cle Elum Valley Road #903. Day use picnic and/or boat launch fee, $5. Annual pass available from concessionaire. Facilities: Single and double family camp units, picnicking units, flush toilets, potable water, barbecue grills, paved boat launch, swimming, parking lot. Units: 34 camping; 16 picnicking. Activities: Tent and trailer camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing. Elevation: 2,400 feet. GPS: 47.2785; -121.092.
