Looking for something to do while staying in Cle Elum? Check out the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Iron Horse State Park and Lake Easton State Park. You will discover hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding along with plenty of winter sports such as cross country skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling that provide an endless amount of recreational activities.

Once part of the path of the Chicago-Milwaukee-St. Paul-Pacific Railroad, Iron Horse Park has over 100 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding extending from Cedar Falls to the Columbia River along the route of a historic railroad. Camping and winter activities are also available.

Open year round, Lake Easton has trails for hiking in the warm months and cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Freshwater access to the shores of Lake Easton provides a beach and boat launch. Camping is allowed.

Okanogan-Wenatchee NF provides hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and off road vehicles. Go fishing in one on the rivers, streams or creeks. Swimming and non-motorized boating is also available. During the winter, take a guided snowshoe walk, go snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, snowboarding or skijoring.
