This park covers 1.2 million acres and is stunningly beautiful
ice-carved terrain of serrated ridges, jutting peaks, dramatic hanging
valleys, 50 glaciers, more than 200 lakes, waterfalls and thick forests.

Going-to-the-Sun Road
A 50-mile (80km) paved drive through the middle of Glacier National Park
stretching and winding its way from West Glacier to St. Mary Lake.

This park is located on the east shore of Whitefish Lake in a wooded area with access to a stretch of smooth cobble beach. Shaded picnic tables are provided.

This park has scenic overlooks that provides a view of the Flathead Valley. A visitor center with information on the area and a gift store are also located here.
