Cape Disappointment hosts a variety of recreational activities including hiking trails, two miles of beach on the Pacific Ocean where you can go fishing (a fish-cleaning station is nearby), boating, crabbing and clamming. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and two lighthouses (North Head and Cape Disappointment) are also in this park.
