One of Ontario's major attractions is the Four Rivers Cultural Center where you can learn about the history of the people and the area, enjoy a drama or musical production or explore the beautiful Japanese Gardens. The Four Rivers Cultural Central is a multi use facility offering a conference center, community theater performing drama and musical productions, gift shop, museum that starts with an educational film depicting the historical context to the exhibits, and Japanese Garden.

Located northwest of Ontario on the Oregon-Idaho border on the banks of the Snake River's Brownlee Reservoir lies the historic Farewell Bend State Recreation Area. This park is on the historic Oregon Trail. The wagon ruts are still visible. Activities are numerous in this park. Brownlee Reservoir offers fishing, waterskiing and boating.
Hikaru Mizu Japanes Garden
Located at Four Rivers Cultural Center, this serene, beautiful garden
serves as a memorial to Japanese Americans interned during World War II
and tp tje Japanese American who fought during the war.

Located approximately 45 miles southwest of Ontario in Nyssa, Lake Owyhee State Park is situated on the shore of the scenic Owyhee Reservoir, a 53 mile long lake that fills a deep and narrow canyon where anglers can fish for largemouth bass, white and black crappie, catfish and the occasional rainbow trout. The road to Lake Owyhee Reservoir is a very scenic and picturesque drive but very narrow and steep.
Highway 20
Highway 20 takes the traveler due west, through the river-scoured
Malheur Gorge and eastern Oregon's arid high desert. Bully Creek
Reservoir, about 25 miles northwest of Ontario is a good place to bird
watch, as well as to fish. Loons, ducks, grebes and the occasional rock
wren or golden eagle can be seen during the spring and winter.
