Activities are endless with Cooke City located four miles from the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the nearby Gallatin and Custer National Forests. This entrance is open year-round offering the outdoor enthusiast unlimited recreation such as snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Summertime provides excellent fishing on the lakes, rivers and streams as well as hiking, biking and horseback riding trails.
