Being the southwestern gateway to Glacier National Park offers unlimited outdoor recreation such as hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains lies Flathead National Forest. Numerous lakes stream and rivers provide fishing, boating, waterskiing and swimming, miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding and plenty of snow activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.

Glacier National Park offers cross country skiing, rivers and lakes for boating, fishing, whitewater rafting, over 700 miles of hiking and biking trails through forests and up mountains, backpacking, driving the famous scenic Going-to-the-Sun Road, wildlife viewing, and guided horseback trips.
