Notes and Tips
The Space Needle is the "queen" of Seattle viewpoints, and is one of
Seattle's top
attractions for this reason.
At ground level you will find the entrance, gift shop and restrooms.
You will find a gift shop, exhibits, and revolving restaurant at the top of the Needle. Reservations are recommended for the latter. Restrooms are also located at the top. (It is rather a strange feeling to find yourself "enthroned" so high above the city!)
At 52 stories (520 feet) above Seattle, views are taken in from the Observation Deck level, which features both outdoor and indoor viewing.
The Views
The Space Needle offers 360º "bird's eye" views over Seattle and
surrounds. On a clear day you can see as far as... Of course the one thing
you wont get in your photos is the Space Needle itself, a classic part of
Seattle's skyline.
Best time for photos is towards midday when the light is evenly distributed in all directions, or towards nightfall for sunset shots.
