Clear Creek
Trail
Winding through the heart of Silverdale, this 5 mile long, "hidden"
trail begins at Dyes Inlet near the Silverdale Beach Hotel. The
beginning of the trail is wide, continuing on through wetlands with a
boardwalk and finishing with the paved portion ideal for biking. An
interpretive center is located in the red barn at the mouth of the Clear
Creek. During weekdays parking is available at Old Mill Park across
Bucklin Hill Road. Evenings and weekends one can use the parking lot
near the Interpretive Center. The Clear Creek Trail web site, provided
by the Clear Creek Trail Task Force, is packed with information on the
plants, wildlife and salmon runs.
