Arboretum

Claire Hanley Arboretum. 569 Hanley Road, Medford, OR.
The Claire Hanley Arboretum was first planted in 1962 by Claire and Mary Hanley, two sisters raised on the historic Michael Hanley Farmstead. Now it is part of an agricultural research center belonging to the Oregon State University.

Gardens and Parks

Alba Park
Located downtown on Holly and Main Streets, this is the oldest park in Medford. See the gazebo, marble statue of a boy with two dogs by a fountain pool and a Japanese cannon from World War II.

Bear Creek Park
Playground, little league fields, off-leash dog area, BMX track, amphitheater, skatepark, barbecue areas, tennis courts and a community garden.

Railroad Park
Park attractions include: full size cars, a caboose, a hopper car, Medco's "Four Spot" Willamette Locomotive, HO Scale Track/Trains in the clubhouse, a working telegraph system to send and receive telegrams in the compound and an operating outdoor Garden Railway.

Vogel Plaza
This park has fountains and art work and provides a staging area for many community events.
