Pacific Coast Scenic Byway
Beginning in Astoria and traveling south to Brookings, this byway
follows the entire scenic coastline along Highway
101. Experience the stunning scenery of the Pacific Ocean while
discovering the charming coastal towns, lighthouses, aquariums, museums and
other points of interest on
your journey. Allow 10 to 12 hours driving time for the 363 mile
(584.2km) scenic tour.

Located 1 mile south of Cannon Beach off the highway, Arcadia State Recreation Site is a wonderful place to spend the day at the beach. Here you can surf, watch tide pools or have a picnic. This beach stretches between 2 headlands, Humbug Point to the north and Lion Rock to the south. Low tide allows you to to pass both headlands.

Bradley is one of the few rest stops along Highway 30 featuring a Douglas Fir forest overlooking the Columbia River, a monument and restroom.

Located 2 miles north of Gearhart off Highway 101, Del Rey is a wonderful place to enjoy the ocean, beach and beautiful sunsets.

Ecola Park is located between Seaside and Cannon Beach stretching the coastline for 9 miles. This day use park offers amazing sightseeing opportunities, an abandoned lighthouse, a network of trails that includes a segment of the Oregon Coast Trail and the Clatsop Loop Trail, a historical interpretive trail.

Located 5 miles south of Cannon Beach, Hug Point offers forested picnic areas and a short walk to the beach. Discover a seasonal waterfall, caves carved into sandstone cliffs and tide pools by walking a short distance to the north. Be careful not to get stranded at high tide while exploring the point.

Oswald has a secluded sandy beach and miles of hiking trails including 13 miles of the Oregon Coast Trail. Cape Falcon and Neah-kah-nie Mountain are two headlands offering more hikes.

Sunset Beach has a famous history and offers access to the ocean with a wide range of views from Cape Disappointment to the north and Ecola State Park to the south. There is an ADA accessible boardwalk leading to the beach.

Located 1 mile south of Cannon Beach off Highway 101, Tolovana Beach offers a beautiful beach for all your favorite activities as well as views of Haystack Rock.
