Located inside the city limits of Billings, this reservoir is an ideal place for swimming, fishing, sailboarding and non-motorized boating. Other features include a fenced-in dog park on the west side of the lake, children's playground, interpretive center, hiking and nature trail and ice skating in the winter.

Learn the history of human habitation in Montana at the Pictograph caves. There are over 100 pictographs or rock paintings with the oldest dating back 2,000 years age. Three main caves, Pictograph, Middle, and Ghost cave were home to generations of hunters. Interpretive displays describe natural features, prehistoric paintings and vegetation.
