Glacier National Park
The West Entrance of Glacier National Park provides access to the Lake McDonald area, Park Headquarters, the Apgar Visitor Center and is the west entry point to the famed 52-mile Going-to-the-Sun Road which climbs 3,000 feet to provide spectacular views across the Continental Divide from June to October.

Hungry Horse Dam
Montana's tallest dam at 564 feet sits wedged in a narrow canyon four miles east of Hungry Horse. The dam blocks the South Fork of the Flathead River to make the 34-mile long Hungry Horse Reservoir. Free tours.

The 34-mile long reservoir offers excellent hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming. There is a visitor center for more information. Camping is allowed.
