The small town Troy is located in Northwest Montana 15 miles west of Libby and approximately 110 miles west of Kalispell on US Highway 2. Nestled between the banks of the Kootenai River and rugged mountains there is ample opportunity for outdoor recreation such as fishing, hunting, hiking, biking and snowmobiling.

The Bull Lake area has trails for hiking and biking including interpretive trails, historic trails and nature trails. Snow activities are found in the Yaak Area and feature cross country ski trails. River and stream fishing is a popular past time. Be sure to visit the Ross Creek Scenic Area to view the Western Red Cedars, enjoy a picnic or take a short hike on the self-guided nature trail forming a loop.

Falls & Swinging Bridge
Located between Libby and Troy off Highway 2 near mile marker 21 Kootenai
Falls is the largest undammed falls in Montana where the falls can be
reached via a ½ mile hike from the parking area. Downstream from the falls
is the swinging bridge which was featured in the movie The River Wild.
Roosevelt Park
Located along the Kootenai River near the Troy Bridge, Roosevelt Park offers
a fishing pond, boat launch, children's playground, basketball court, soccer
field, 3 baseball fields, picnic tables, barbeque area and the Osprey
Pavilion. The Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration is also held here. One
yurt on the bank of the river is available to rent year-round.
