South of downtown Boise, the Bench has an additional 60 feet (18 m) of elevation. This sudden rise gives the area the appearance of a step or bench.
Steeped in history, Boise's downtown consists of Old Boise Historic District, the Linen District and South 8th Street Historic Downtown also known as BoDo. Also located in the downtown area is the Grove Plaza, Julia Davis Park and the Cultural District, the Discovery Center and the historic Basque Block.
Encompasses the far east end of Warm Springs with access to Highway 21.
Consists of older homes on tree lined streets. A quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Hyde Park is located in this neighborhood.
This area lies against the Boise Foothills to the north. State Street runs through this neighborhood. Easy access to the Boise Greenbelt from here.
An ideal location with everything nearby including the Boise River, Greenbelt, mountains and lakes.
Built in the 1960's to 1980's, this area is close to the airport, golf courses and the Boise Bench area.
The area receives it's name from the natural hot springs that flow from the Boise fault line. Warm Springs Avenue runs through this neighborhood.
This is the flattest section of Boise with views of the Boise Front, and includes the Boise Town Square Mall which is the largest shopping mall in the state of Idaho.
