Our
log home was built in an early mining town called Bonanza around 1880
and later hauled into the town site of Challis and is located in the
older, quieter part of town at the intersection of 10th and Butte
Street.
The distinctive fir logs on interior walls are massive and show the hand hewn adz marks of a professional craftsman. Everything from curtains to the tub has been carefully kept historically correct. There also is the original carriage house out back. Though our bed and breakfast has the look and feel of a period home, you will find it to be snug and warm and your comfort is further assured with all new plumbing, drain lines, wiring and heating.
