Belfair State Park. 3151 NE State Route 300, Belfair, WA 98528.

Belfair, open year-round, lies at the southern end of Hood Canal and features a saltwater shoreline and wetlands. With warm summer breezes, Belfair is popular for kite flying and windsurfing. Kayaking is popular with the easy accessed sloping beaches, as is swimming, fishing, clamming, crabbing and oysters. Also available is a badminton area, fire circles, horseshoe pits and volleyball fields. Camping at Belfair includes 120 tent sites, 3 restrooms, 8 showers and 1 dump station. Two each of the restrooms and showers are ADA compliant. The main, beach and tree loops make up the camping loop.

Jarrell Cove State Park. Located on the northwest side of Harstine Island in South Puget Sound at 391 E. Wingert Road, Shelton, WA 98584.

Off the beaten path, this marine camping park accessible by road and bridge or by boat. This park manages 5 satellite parks. Recreational activities include hiking and biking trails, saltwater boating, diving, fishing, swimming, water skiing. Moorage is available along with a badminton area, horseshoe pits, volleyball field, fire circles, amphitheater plus bird and wildlife viewing.

Mason Lake County Park. 6011 E. Mason Lake Drive W, Grapeview, WA 98546.

Open year-round, Mason Lake Park features a wooded area, picnic areas and a boat launch. Restrooms are open April through October and there is room for vehicle with trailer parking.

Potlatch State Park. Located 12 miles north of Shelton on Highway 101, Grapeview.

Located on Hood Canal, Potlatch features shellfish harvesting (clamming, crabbing, oysters), fishing, kite flying, wind surfing and scuba diving. Interpretive programs are available in the summer. Camping at Potlatch includes 38 tent spaces, 35 utility spaces, dump station and 3 restrooms (2 with showers). Two of the tent sites are for primitive use.

Twanoh State Park. Located 8 miles west of Belfair at 12190 E. State Route 106, Union, WA 98592.

Located on the shoreline of Hood Canal, Twanoh is a marine camping park featuring one of the warmest saltwater beaches in Washington. Shellfish harvesting, hiking, fishing, swimming, water skiing and wildlife viewing are popular activities.
