Lodging within the park includes large hotel-like lodges built in the early 1900s, high country chalets built in 1913 and motel-like facilities built in the 1930s and 1940s. Additionally, some of the lodge and motel properties have associated rustic cabins including some with kitchen facilities.
You will find these lodging properties located within four distinct areas of the park as follows: Apgar Village and the Lake McDonald Loop on the west side; the Many Glacier area near the northeast entrance; the Rising Sun area near the east entrance.

Offers 20 motel rooms and 28 cabins. All units have private bathrooms. Some cabins feature kitchens outfitted with refrigerator, stove, toaster, dishes and utensils. Larger cabins are billed as family cabins. The lodge is property of Glacier National Park and is operated by Glacier Park Inc.

Located in Apgar Village on the shore of Lake McDonald. Has one- and two-bedroom units. Some kitchen units. No TVs, air conditioners nor in-room telephones. Pets limited to service animals. This national park property is operated by Xanterra Parks & Resorts, Inc.

Located just off the on the Going-to-the-Road on the shore of Lake McDonald about 10 miles from the west entrance to the park. The property features 82 guest rooms and cabins. No TVs, air conditioning nor elevators in the three-story lodge. Cabins share a common wall, but no connecting doors between cabins. Food service includes Russell's Fireside Dining Room, Jammer Joe's Grill and Pizzeria, and Lucke's Lounge. This national park property is operated by Xanterra Parks & Resorts, Inc.

Located about 300 yards from the Lake McDonald Lodge and about 10 miles from the West Glacier entrance. Guests have access to food service at the nearby Lake McDonald Lodge. This national park property is operated by Glacier Park Inc.

Located on the shore of Swiftcurrent Lake, the park's largest hotel was built by the Great Northern Railway during the early 1900s and features 250 guest rooms with private baths, a gift shop, and food service available in the Ptarmigan Dining Room, the Interlaken Lounge and Heidi's Snack Shop & Espresso Stand. No TVs or air conditioning. Pets are limited to service animals. This national park property is operated by Xanterra Parks & Resorts, Inc.

Located about a mile from the Many Glacier Hotel, the property has 95 motor inn and cabins, a restaurant, camp store and a gift shop. Some cabins have private baths.
