Northwest Montana
East Glacier Park

East Glacier Park is a small village near the southeast entrance to Glacier National Park and sits on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, a First Nations Tribe. East Glacier Park was "put on the map" after the Great Northern Railroad built the Glacier Park Lodge to entice travelers to ride the rails and stay at the Lodge as a means to explore the majesty of Glacier National Park. Visitors will enjoy incredible scenery and recreational activities including hundreds of miles of hiking trails and ample backcountry excursions.

There is a nice variety of accommodations, but you will want reservations at least 6 months in advance. Lodging choices feature cabin rentals, inns, lodges, hotels, motels, campgrounds and RV parks and even a few vacation guest house rentals.

Go Northwest! travel guide provides you with all the visitor information you need to when planning a trip to East Glacier. Just use the navigation links in the left hand column or the drop down menu at the top of the page to find accommodations and lodging, restaurants and dining, activities and recreation, along with attractions and points of interest.
