The Elwha is located off of
Highway 101 on the Olympic Peninsula. Its waters
originate from the high mountains of Olympic National Park and are dam
controlled allowing for a long season running from
mid-spring through early fall. The Elwha offers a
taste of the picturesque scenery of this area while enjoying mild class 2+
whitewater. A variety of wildlife including beaver, deer, elk, osprey,
eagles, hawks, and various waterfowl inhabit the area.
